A big thank you to Joan Kinley, our dedicated Education Chair, and Robyn Callahan for hosting an outstanding Education Day and pool party! We had a fantastic turnout, enjoyed engaging sessions, so much delicious food, and left with new knowledge—and some cute new breeches too.
A very special thank you to our wonderful speakers: Dr. Rhodes Murphey, DVM who spoke with us about keeping our horses healthy in the Texas heat (we promise we will have 3 thermometers on us at all times!), Lauren Cook from Santa Cruz Animal Health who not only gave us an informative look into what Santa Cruz has to offer, but sent everyone hone with an amazing goodie bag full of samples! A little weather wasn't going to stop the FWDC Schooling Show from being a grand time! Thank you to our wonderful judge, Barbara Lewis, for her invaluable feedback, and our amazing show secretary, Lindsay Slough Cooper, for keeping the event well run and organized. Thank you to all of our volunteers who came out to help and to all the exhibitors and their equine dance partners for supporting our show, and of course, thank you Willow Draw for providing the fabulous facilities and grounds we all know and love so much. | Have photos from the schooling show?
