As stated in Article II of the By-Laws of the Fort Worth Dressage Club (FWDC), the purpose of the club is to promote dressage in Fort Worth and the surrounding area. The Club has established a scholarship program to assist amateur, professional and junior younger members who wish to further their riding careers through educational opportunities.

Qualified scholarship applications are accepted by the Scholarship Committee  February 1-28 and August 1-31 of each year, and awarded during that month.

To qualify, the applicant must:

• Be a member in good standing of the Fort Worth Dressage Club

• Only be eligible once every 2 years for a scholarship

• Meet eligibility requirements for volunteer hours

• Volunteers at Shows

• Fundraising

• Facilitating / Procuring educational programs

A maximum of $300 will be awarded for verified volunteer service.
