Cavaletti Clinic with Sarah Fulton-Smith
August 17, 2025

Sarah is an FEI rider and trainer that utilizes a variety of cross training techniques to keep horses fit and happy in their work. She enjoys sharing her experience with cavaletti with other dressage riders to freshen up their rides and incorporate cavaletti into their training routine.

Given that this is mid-August this clinic is limited to 6 participants, so we can finish up before noon! We have a covered and fans though so we should stay pretty comfortable.

Cost of clinic is $120 including arena fee.

Contact Sarah to register or audit.

Check out our Clinic page for more opportunities.

Join the FWDC Show Committee!

Your Leadership + Our Next Show = Unforgettable Magic

Following a very positive fact-finding mission to visit Glen Rose Expo's new manager, the club has decided to pursue a recognized show for 2026. However, in order to make the show a successful reality, we need passionate, dedicated volunteers to join our

Show Committee! Your energy, ideas, and commitment are the keys to creating an event that not only meets but exceeds expectations.

Why your involvement matters -

  • Collective expertise: Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or new to our club, your unique perspective helps us tackle every detail—from pursuing donors, assisting with competitor hospitality and venue logistics.

  • Smooth execution: A well-staffed committee ensures we stay on schedule, stay on budget, and deliver the high-quality experience our Region 9 dressage community expects.

  • Strengthened camaraderie: Working side by side fosters deeper connections and makes the process as enjoyable as the show itself. And fulfills the all-important volunteer hour requirement to be eligible for Year End Awards!

How to get involved -

We need at least four more committee members to join me (Barb Harty) and Paula Gregory who is the club Volunteer Coordinator. The committee must be filled by July 21, so email me at b.harty440@att.net to volunteer.

Even if you have just an hour or two a week to spare, every bit of support counts. Together, we’ll craft an event that reflects our collective passion for our club and our sport.

Thank you for everything you do for our club. Let’s make next year’s show the best one yet!

FWDC Schooling show
June 15, 2025

A little weather wasn't going to stop the FWDC Schooling Show from being a grand time! Thank you to our wonderful judge, Barbara Lewis, for her invaluable feedback, and our amazing show secretary, Lindsay Slough Cooper, for keeping the event well run and organized. Thank you to all of our volunteers who came out to help and to all the exhibitors and their equine dance partners for supporting our show, and of course, thank you Willow Draw for providing the fabulous facilities and grounds we all know and love so much.

Have photos from the schooling show? We would love to share them! Email them to Alicia.
