Welcome to the home of dressage in Fort Worth. We're glad to see you! The club was founded in 1985 as a group member organization (GMO) of the United States Dressage Federation (USDF) and at least three charter members are still active in the club! The benefits of membership are many - friendship, support and did we mention fun?
We meet the fourth Monday of the month at 6:30 PM at Szechuan Chinese Restaurant on Bryant-Irvin Road in Fort Worth. The business meeting starts at 6:30 PM. We have dinner during the meeting and socialize around the table afterward. Some months we have guest speakers - we've had a vet, an equine nutritionist, and other professionals. Please come out and see us - we'd love to meet you!
We had a lively and informative meeting on Monday, June 26th. Lots of fun in the offing! If any of you did not get Mr. Chilson's contact information, here's his card -
PARTY ALERT! PARTY ALERT!
Looking for a way to avoid the dreaded "equestrian tan?" You know, the one where your arms and legs look like they belong to two totally different people and you look like you're wearing white gloves all the time? Of course you are! And we have just the solution - the 2017 FWDC Pool Party on Saturday, July 22, 2017! Renee Smith and her husband, Abb (he of the amazing barbecue skills) will be hosting at their lovely home. Grab your suits, towels and significant other (or insignificant other - we don't judge) and a side dish or dessert to share. Renee says there will be prizes and "shenanigans" galore and it's casual, so just show up anytime after 1:30. If you don't want to be left out of the social event of the summer, please come!
