End of year awardsSCORES! SCORES! SCORES! We need your scores! Leslee Covington has sounded the call for all those lovely scores you worked sooo hard to earn. If you are a member of FWDC, make copies of your test results from any dressage test and get them to Leslee ASAP. Recognized show? We'll take them. Schooling show? We want those too. Eventing test? Yep! Western Dressage? You betcha! Gaited Dressage? Oh heck yeah! Email, or snail mail. Be sure to include your name, your horse's name, the owner's name (if different from rider's), division (Open, AA, JR/YR), test number and level along with an image of the front page of the test. You can send a screen shot or link to the scores page at USDF/USEF. Bundle all of this up and send it off to leslee.cov@gmail.com by December 1st. 2024. We also want to recognize and honor a few special people in the club who have gone above and beyond over the last year with some special awards. We need nominations for: The Golden Muck Rake award for spouse/partner of the year Volunteer of the Year The Katelyn Vanhoozer Memorial Sportsmanship award The Jane Athey Brown Memorial Scholarship award The Stayed In, Stayed On, Got Schooled, Came Back Again awards for perseverance. All proceeds from the auction go directly to our Scholarship program. | Cavaletti ClinicSunday, November 24 Join Sarah Fulton-Smith for a one day clinic where Sarah introduces cavaletti as a gymnastic tool to incorporate into your dressage program whether you are a beginner or an upper level rider. We will cover everything from the basics of spacing and heights to introducing cavaletti to a horse for the first time and advanced exercises to improve test movements. $120 includes lesson and trailer in fee Auditors $15, and each rider can bring a groom that can audit for free Lunch will be included. Sarah is an FEI rider, trainer, and instructor.
